For 25 years, the EMS study programme "Studying in the Middle East (SiMO)" has placed students at the Near East School of Theology (NEST) in Beirut. To mark this anniversary, Claudia Rammelt and Rima Nasrallah have published "Wartorn Faith. Christian reflections on the conflicts in the Middle East after 7 October 2023" (Lit Verlag Berlin). 

A group from the SiMO programme involved in the book project will share perspectives on a culture of life in the Middle East – addressing fear and hope, historical traumas, German responsibility, and the diverse realities of the region.
