The Evangelical Association for the Schneller Schools (EVS) invites all members and interested parties to a Service of Intercession for Peace in the Middle East as part of its annual general meeting.

The annual festival will be celebrated with and in the Evangelical Church in Wendlingen. The congregation has a very special connection with the Schneller work:

The organ that was installed in the Theodor-Schneller-School in recent months has been in service in the Johanneskirche in Wendlingen for almost six decades. Today, the site is home to the Johannesforum, where the General Assembly will take place.

To honour the special relationship between Wendlingen and Amman, the service will be celebrated together with the congregation members in the church of the Theodor-Schneller-School and broadcast live. Together with our Anglican brothers and sisters in the Holy Land, we pray for peace in Israel and Palestine and throughout the region. The organ will then be played in public for the first time in its new location.

In order to allow members of the community in Amman to attend, the service will take place in the afternoon at 4pm.

Transporting and building the organ was expensive. That is why we are asking for donations. Anyone who donates at least 250 Euros will have their name engraved on the sides of the organ.
