Marianne Wagner was elected Theological Board Member

Synod of the Protestant Church of the Palatinate elects EMS Chairperson

Marianne Wagner was elected Theological Board Member by the Synod of the Protestant Church of the Palatinate (EKP) on 1st June 2016. Since 2012, Marianne Wagner is Chairperson of the EMS Mission Council, General Meeting and the EMS Presidium.

Klaus Rieth, Deputy Chairperson of the EMS bodies and Council Member, said: "I was very delighted to hear about Marianne Wagner´s election as Theological Board Member of the Protestant Church of the Palatinate (EKP). I appreciate her work and commitment as Chairperson of the international bodies of the Evangelical Mission in Solidarity since years. I am looking forward to our further cooperation and I wish her all the best for her new responsibilities."

EMS General Secretary Jürgen Reichel congratulates as well: "All EMS members are glad to continue to work with Marianne Wagner and wish her strength and God´s blessing for her new tasks. Marianne Wagner has promoted decisively the internationalisation of EMS in her function as Chairperson of the EMS Presidium and I take this opportunity to thank her for this great commitment."
