We warmly invite you to the next EMS Sharing of Life Concerns on Monday, 8 December 2025 at 1:00 pm (CET) – our special Christmas Edition.

Our speaker, Eleanor McCormick, will guide us in an intercultural reflection on nativity scenes (crèches) and what they reveal about the story of Christ’s birth and our place within it.

Many of us carry personal memories connected to a nativity scene:
Was it a treasured family heirloom? A colorful set you were allowed to play with? Handcrafted or artistically designed? Every crèche tells its own story – and together they reveal the diversity of Christmas traditions around the world.

We invite all participants to bring a nativity scene or a photo of one. The different representations will enrich our sharing and highlight the many ways in which the Christmas narrative is lived across cultures.
