The focus of this issue was planned long before Hamas' cruel massacre of innocent people in Israel and Israel's subsequent war against Hamas in Gaza. In two recent articles, Uwe Gräbe and Katja Dorothea Buck nevertheless look at the situation in the Middle East and ask what will change in relations between ecumenical partners and between religions.
