Moving Forward – Hope and Help in Gaza
After moments of relief and hope, the situation in the Middle East remains tense – particularly in Gaza. The Ahli Arab Hospital continues to provide vital assistance under extremely difficult conditions. EMS calls for support.

In recent days, dramatic developments have taken place in the Middle East. On October 13, there was a moment of deep relief and joy, reflected in the faces of those who were released and their families. Many burdens have been lifted from their hearts. We thank God for all the positive developments. At the same time, the needs of the people in Gaza remain great, and the political situation is highly fragile.
Tireless Commitment at the Ahli Arab Hospital
Under these conditions, the staff of the Anglican Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza have been performing extraordinary work for years. Amid destruction and suffering, they support the wounded and sick every day – bringing healing, hope, and comfort. On the day of the ceasefire, they recorded a short video providing insight into their work: ➡️ Watch video on Facebook
“Our partners need our solidarity now”
EMS Middle East Representative Uwe Gräbe calls for continued support: “Our partners in the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem and at the Ahli Arab Hospital are doing incredible work amid unimaginable hardship. They are a symbol of hope and humanity – right in the midst of the ruins. Please help ensure that this vital work can continue.”
Donations for the Only Christian Hospital in Gaza
Support is still urgently needed. The Evangelical Mission in Solidarity (EMS) forwards donations directly to the hospital.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has already donated!
The Ahli Arab Hospital is the only Christian hospital in the Gaza Strip – and one of the few that is still operational.
