Floods and landslides in Sulawesi

EMS helps. You can help, too!

EMS Emergency Aid Sulawesi
info_outline

The images of heavy rain and flooding in Southern Germany at the beginning of June are still fresh in many people's minds. But the climate is not only changing in Germany.

More and more people around the world are struggling to cope with the consequences of climate change, such as prolonged monsoon rains.  And often there is no state-organised help and support in the event of a disaster. This is also the case in the Toraja region in Sulawesi/Indonesia. Floods and landslides have swept away entire villages. The people there are left with nothing.

The EMS can provide targeted, fast and unbureaucratic help through its member churches in Indonesia: The Toraja Church has already started providing emergency aid. Several teams are on the ground!

The aid on the ground comes from the EMS Emergency Aid Fund. We ask you to help the victims of natural disasters and donate to the EMS Emergency Aid Fund. By doing so, you will ensure that rapid assistance in emergencies remains possible in the future.
