The international EMS Fellowship mourns with the people in Korea for the victims of the mass panic in Seoul this weekend.
General Secretary Rev. Dr. Dieter Heidtmann writes in the condolence message to the two Korean member churches of EMS: “On behalf of the EMS members, I want to express our heartfelt condolences for the victims of the mass panic in Seoul. We mourn with the people of Korea for the people who only wanted to celebrate together and died in the dense crowd. We pray for the injured, that they may be saved and healed. We feel close to the people who lost someone dear to them in Seoul on Saturday. May our Lord Jesus Christ strengthen and accompany the people affected by this tragedy. ‘If one limb suffers, all the limbs suffer with it.’ (1 Cor. 12:26).”
